Greetings!
A lot has happened in the last month! First and foremost, we lost the ability to send emails right after my last message! All is fixed – we have moved everything over, and you will get more frequent updates. The irony that I pledged communication and could not communicate with everyone is not lost on me…
*(If this email is going into your spam email, please reply to it to ensure it never happens again.)*
Rest assured that just because you haven’t heard from me doesn’t mean I haven’t been working! I have been working hard to increase the visibility of the DEGOP. In the first week of July, I appeared on the [Newsmax show “Wise Guys”](https://www.newsmaxtv.com/Shows/Wise-Guys-with-John-Tabacco/vid/1_smwxr7la) and talked about how Republicans can win in 2024 by discussing issues affecting everyone. We need to be issued-based problem-solvers. Crime, Education, and the Economy affect everyone, and our candidates typically have solutions to these issues.
Last weekend I was invited to the Turning Point Action conference to speak with other “grassroots” RNC people. While there, I was able to appear on War Room and talk about how parties can raise funds with small-dollar donations and talked about our President’s Club. (More on that later this week stay tuned).

Jim Weldin and I spoke at a recent Kent County Regional meeting and will be hitting every region by the end of September. We shared our vision for where we are going and how we plan to get there.
We are getting ready to move our headquarters in Wilmington to another location about a mile from our current location. Our current site is scheduled to be destroyed – I can’t say enough nice things about our landlord and his generosity to the DEGOP.
Candidate interviews are ongoing. I know people are “worried” that the Democrats have all announced. I assure you that we have been working diligently and will announce our slate as soon as possible.
We are currently occupied with the Delaware State Fair. Our booth has had a lot of traffic and engagement. Saturday night I spent about 4 hours talking to people and was really pleased with all the people that stopped and checked out our booth and engaged with us.

Finally – I want to leave you with something to think about…when KellyAnne Conway spoke at the Convention dinner, she used a phrase several times - Unity, not Unanimity. Contextually I thought I understood what she was saying, but I decided I wanted to actually look up the definitions to see if it helped. It did. Unity is the state of being united or joined as a whole. Unanimity is agreement by all people involved. People comment all the time that Democrats are UNITED. They actually aren’t. There are factions within the Democrat party that we need to exploit. The Super-Progressive Democrats actually have no tolerance for free thinking at all. They are Unanimity all the way.
For Republicans, this is important to understand. We are NOT all in lockstep – we are independent thinkers that are proud of our ability to think for ourselves and to have our own opinions. That is OK. We have to embrace that! It is ok to have different opinions – we just have to find a couple of issues that we can all get behind and unite on those and not bludgeon each other when we don’t all agree on every topic. WE can unite and not agree on everything…
