![[murray-minute.png]] ### A Busy 30 Days Greetings! I hope this email finds you in good health and high spirits! I don’t know about you, but I have been BUSY since May 1. Lots and lots of meetings. Very productive meetings. I feel like I have my hands around quite a bit already and can confirm we have our work cut out for us. The first few days were like drinking from a fire hydrant. I have lived through this before in my previous campaigns, so I have learned to just take one step at a time. Soak in everything that I can and be open about bouncing ideas off lots of different people. I am working to strengthen our party and build bridges with elected officials. Last week I met with House GOP Caucus at Legislative Hall. Great meeting. I thought I was going to get a couple of minutes to just say hi and ended up getting about 15 minutes with lots of questions. One of the great takeaways was that several members expressed an interest in being on some of the committees that we are forming. We all agree that we need to be on the same page. I also attended a Senate Caucus fundraiser the same day. Great conversations with members and a pledge that we are going to work together. ![[gop-may-2023.jpg]] My first Executive Committee Meeting was May 18th. It was a long meeting where I had much to update. I was encouraged by the Committee’s response to my report – it was “we are all in this together.” In just 30 days we have already made significant progress. We are working diligently to improve our communications and have definitely been more VISIBLE and VOCAL. So what is next? Filling the committees and getting our strategic plan in place! For those of you that have already submitted a form, you will be contacted shortly. Finally, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude once again for your faith in my ability to bring us all together to WIN. Our mutual commitment to conservative values and belief that we can effect positive change is going to make us succeed. Remember, silent no more…. Julianne Murray Chair Delaware State Republican Party
